RCFHA is a non-profit organization that provides community-based hockey programs. Our association is entirely run by volunteers. All our volunteers make a big difference for the children, youth, and adults who play in the League. We have opportunities for all commitment levels.
From our Board members to coaches and referees; our success in growing and expanding over the years has been because of the hard work and commitment of our volunteers. Volunteers really are essential to the success of RCFHA.

How we can help you
Volunteering with us can also assist participants in obtaining community volunteer hours that may be needed for academic programs, CVs, etc. We can verify and confirm (as required) volunteer hours that you contribute to RCFHA. Volunteering for a non-profit looks very good on any resume or application form.
There is no minimum time commitment required, and for many of the roles, you don’t need to have experience playing floor hockey.
Opportunities
There are many opportunities to get involved, from season-long commitments to an hourly basis. We have several volunteer opportunities available, including:
- Board of Directors
- Coaches and assistant coaches
- Timekeepers
- Community Pop-Up Events
- Small league events
